Setting Up Face ID

To use Face ID for quick and secure access, you’ll first need to set it up on your device by following the instructions below

On iPhone:

1.    Open your device’s Settings.

2.    Select Face ID & Passcode.

3.    Follow the on-screen prompts to position your face within the frame. Your device will scan multiple angles to build a complete facial map.

On Android:

1.    Open your device’s Settings.

2.    Navigate to Security > Biometrics > Face Recognition.

3.    Follow the on-screen prompts to position your face within the frame for scanning.

4.    Once your face is registered, return to Face Recognition and ensure the Face Unlock toggle is turned ON.

Enabling Face ID for the AAdvantage Cash™ Mobile App

Before using Face ID with the AAdvantage Cash™ app, ensure your employee login information is saved on your phone.

Once that's done:

1.    Launch the AAdvantage Cash™ app.

2.    On the login page, tap ‘Continue’.

3.    A pop-up will appear stating: “AACash wants to use aa.com to sign in.” Tap ‘Continue’.

4.    The standard American Airlines login page will display. Tap the AA ID field.

5.    Another pop-up will ask if you want to use your saved AA ID credentials. Tap ‘Continue’.

6.    Your device will then prompt Face ID, and you’ll be logged into the app automatically.
