Managing Digital Gift Cards on the Mobile App

What You Need to Know:

You can easily track, select and redeem digital gift cards earned through roadshows and RoadshowToGo™ sessions right in the AAdvantage Cash™ mobile app.

Gift Card Notifications

If a red dot appears on the ‘More’ icon in the bottom navigation bar, it means you have a pending spin or gift card.

For gift cards, you’ll also receive a push notification and an email prompting you to make your selection.

To begin the selection process:

•    Tap ‘More’

•    Then tap ‘Rewards’

Selecting Your Gift Card

•    Go to the ‘Choose Gift Card’ tab at the top menu (a red dot will appear if a reward is available).

•    On the next screen, tap ‘Choose Your Reward Today’ on the reward card displaying your gift amount.

•    Browse and select from a list of available merchants. Options may vary based on the reward amount.

•    Once you’ve made a selection, the ‘Confirm Selection’ button will turn blue—tap to finalize.

•    You’ll be directed to the ‘Your Gift Cards’ tab and see a Congratulations message.

Note: You must select a gift card within 60 days, or it will expire and cannot be claimed. Once selected, gift cards do not expire.

Sharing Your Gift Card

After selecting your card:

•    You’ll receive an email with the gift card code and PIN (if needed)

•    To share the card, forward the confirmation email to a family member or friend

•    Be sure not to redeem the card yourself if you plan to share it

Redeeming Your Gift Card

•    Go to the ‘Your Gift Cards’ tab

•    Your card will show the merchant, amount, code, and PIN

•    Tap ‘Tap Card to Redeem’ to complete redemption via the merchant’s website

•    Your card details are also stored in your confirmation email

Once redeemed, the gift card will appear in ‘Prior Earnings’ for the current month and later under historical gift card rewards by month.

Removing a Gift Card

Before deleting a gift card, make sure the reward has been fully transferred to your merchant account.

To remove:

•    Select the card you wish to delete—this moves it to the top

•    Tap the trash can icon

•    Confirm removal when prompted

•    Tap ‘Remove’ to finalize
