Payment Timing

What You Need to Know:


All AAdvantage® Cash compensation will be paid in the second paycheck of the month, following the month it was earned. This will also include any current promotion and/or bonus pay you may have earned.


For example:

•    Flight attendants will be paid on the second paycheck in February for approved applications processed in January. 

•    If a flight attendant completes program qualification in March, a $25 qualification bonus will be paid on the second paycheck in April.


There will be a single amount paid for every approved application, which is determined by which tier you are in. You will see one single line in your paycheck that says “AAdvantage® Cash”.


The normal payment schedule may be affected if a flight attendant is on any form of leave from American. The process can be different for mainline and regional employees, so please reach out with any specific questions related to your leave.


To view your earnings on the mobile app, please follow these steps.

Step 1: Log into the AAdvantage® Cash mobile app

Step 2: Tap the "My Earnings” icon on the bottom navigation bar 

Step 3: Tap Earnings History to see pay amounts for previous months


To view your earnings, from MyAAdvantageCash.com please follow these steps.

Step 1: Log in to MyAAdvantageCash.com 

Step 2: Click on “My Earnings” at the top bar of the homepage 

Step 3: You may click on Earnings History to see pay amounts for previous months
