What You Need to Know:
A best practice to follow before customers begin boarding the plane is to determine which flight attendants participate in the AAdvantage® Cash program, and decide who will:
- Read the PA verbatim
- Walk through the cabin and pass out applications to customers that are interested in applying
- Walk through the cabin to answer questions and collect any completed applications
Each participant gives applications with their 6-digit AA employee ID prefilled in the promotional code field to the designated walker.
Apps are then stacked and handed out in this order to ensure fairness:
1 – 2 – 3 – 3 – 2 – 1 (this order reflects 3 participants).
This stacking method enables each flight attendant to have an equal chance to have their application distributed. If a flight attendant is not qualified, they cannot participate in the program.
