What You Need to Know:
Your access to the portal while on leave is as follows:
What You Can Access or Do While on Leave:
• View historical earnings, including current-month earnings up to the start of your leave
• Stay informed with banners highlighting current promotions and offers
• Read support articles and submit support requests
What You Cannot Access or Do While on Leave:
• Qualify or requalify for the AAdvantage Cash™ program
• Receive compensation for decisioned applications while on leave
• Receive marketing or transactional communication
These changes are designed to keep you informed and engaged, while maintaining program integrity during leave status.
Returning to the Program After Leave
Once you return to active status, your status should automatically update in the daily HR file we receive. Please note:
• It may take up to 5 business days for your return to reflect in our system
• The AAdvantage Cash™ team cannot manually update your status—we must wait for confirmation via the HR file
As soon as your active status is reflected in the portal, you’ll regain full access to the program.
If your qualification expired while on leave, you’ll need to requalify before participating again. Otherwise, you can resume participation immediately once your status is updated.
